After consulting JKSPCB, Govt bans disposable items in State | KNO

Srinagar, March 27 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday banned the use of various disposable bio-degradable items was on Wednesday banned. According to the order issued by the Govt, the use of disposable plates, cups, bowls, tumblers, spoons, forks and knives are hereby banned in the State. “The ban shall be deemed to have in force after one month from the date of its publication in the government gazette,” it reads. According to KNO correspondent, the order was passed by the government J&K after consultation with the (J&K State Pollution Control Board).(KNO)
